Where is the best place to get them cheap? Does anyone get them from hardware stores? Home Depot? Lowes?

I've been fishing for carp and tying some headstands (Thank You Mr. Egan) and would like to know.

Yeah, that is where I get them in bulk...you'll pay $1 or so a foot if I recall.

The hardware store is cheapest, although I've purchased some from fly shops as well just to support the industry...

Tim, I'm flattered that anyone even knows the Headstand is my pattern. I hope it helps you catch the smartest fish in freshwater! Oh, and easy on the Mister thing.......
