Hi all,

I live in Cranberry Twp, PA (Western PA) and I recently and luckily just stumbled across this forum. I really got into (read completely addicted) to flyfishing a few years ago when a buddy took me to Spring Creek during the Cicada Hatch. After that experience, I haven't touched my bass rig since. I am really excited to research on this forum and to learn as much as I can from the many experts on here. In just a week, I have already picked up a few new tools.

I mainly fish Spring Creek and the Little J and I am always looking for opportunities to fish with people who are more skilled than I am (which is most people).

Seriously, Steve and I fished the Cicada madness and I really don't think I'll ever equal that quality of fishing in my life. No exaggeration. Not just the numbers but the quality of fish that you could bring to hand -- on top -- was just amazing wasn't it?

I figure that even in another 17 years (fifteen now?) I'll not have that experience again. The weather and water was prime and I just happened to have a lot of time available during the days. This was right before my son was born and for six amazing weeks I took full advantage of what I considered my "last hurrah" --- at least for a while.
