Hi guys. My name's Chris. I know a few of you already and they directed me here. Great site with lots of knowledgeable anglers. I've spent the last week or so browsing and I've picked up a lot of info. Anyway, I live in the Boise area and I usually fish our local tailwaters for rainbows, browns and whitefish. In the fall I fish up north for Steelhead.

I have fished oak orchard, Cattaragus Creek, and the Salmon River in Upstate New York and I hope to go back someday. For now though, I just fish my local stuff and hope to get better. I'm not trying to compete or anything like that but I enjoy reading about competition angling and picking up tips from you guys. Anyway, thanks for having me.

welcome aboard the board Chris...I got to fish the salmon fly hatch out your way in Idaho Falls a few years back plus a few of the other great rivers there too.Awesome
