Whats up? My name is Steven Hughes and I am from Rutherford county in western North Carolina. A member on here Chris Smith told me about this forum so I thought I would check it out. It really seams to be a very informative site. I have had a passion for fly fishing as long as I can remember. I try to fish as much as time allows, but being married with two kids it doesn't happen as much as I would like. I am also getting more into fly tying. I have spent most of my life chasing brookies on small mountain streams, but I have been fishing larger water like the East TN tailwaters more recently.

I just found the site a week or so ago Steven. Spend a lot of time fishing the NC high country? I am up there several times a year.

We spent a good deal of time together this weekend (poor guy had to watch me flail at the water for 4 hours), and I can tell he's getting the competition bug!

welcome,,,,the things with kids, i that they grow up and are our their own. Then we get all the time in the world to fish. I fish alot all year round, but i love the days that i get one..or both of my sons on the water
