Rich Reedinger Intro
« on: March 30, 2010, 11:15:12 AM »
I have been a lurker of sorts for a while on this forum and felt I should toss my name into the member ranks.  I find the information here is very illuminating at times. I am particularly interested in the competitive talk from the Team USA folks and the Fips-Mouche competition comments.  I am the Team Manager with US Youth Fly Fishing Team and have a chance to profit from some of your competitive experiences and learn some things to pass on to the kids on the team as well as those who come to our clinics and tryouts.
I reside just outside State College, PA since 2006 when I retired from a 35 yr career in law enforcement in the Philly area.  I have been involved with fly fishing for over 30 yrs and worked in a very salt water FF oriented shop for 22 yrs.  I still love my salt water excursions to the Keys, Louisiana delta and New England islands. As for trout fishing, I do have the opportunity to fish the local streams near my new home just about year round, and I am glad my retirement is basically devoted to flyfishing and promoting the sport. I hope I can contribute some of my experience here as I continue to enjoy the website.

Great to have you here Rich. You guys are really doing a spectacular job, especially recently, with the youth team. Loren keeps us pretty up to date, but please let us know about any way this community can assist!

Welcome aboard Rich.  What a terrific place to retire - State College!!!  I have to say I am envious.
