Tying photography
« on: October 29, 2009, 01:27:08 PM »
I have messed with a couple of different set ups in the past.  My 2 cameras are a point and shoot olympus 1050 (the same that I use for on water)  it is slow, but it is rugged and has decent macro.  The other is a nikon d40x dslr which is a decent entry level dslr and takes a good shot, but I need to get a converter for macro as was discussed here earlier.  I have flirted with various light sources and usually use 2 and a foiled covered dvd case to bounce light to where I want it.  What do you guys typically use?

Here is a resource that has some decent info.

http://flyartstudio.com/wordpress/?p=331#more-331

I'd be interested to hear of any other resources this group may have.
