Funny how most fly guys are really synced up... I was just tying BWOs!  Groovy man.

-When I was a guide in Alaska one of the initiations was you were supposed to hold a  salmon up above your head tha was dropping eggs, run your hand down her belly, and chomp down a fresh mouthful of row! Yummy  ;D

I fished the Lower Provo in March a few years ago, on a trip to the Green River.  Actually ended up enjoying the Provo more, caught a lot of fish there, and the average size was really good, prob 16-17".  We hit BWO & Midge hatches, and I got to do some sight fishing with nymphs, which I really like to do.  The Olives were big, some up to a #16.  Didn't hit the Middle Provo, one of my friends says that's his favorite.  You ever fish the Weber?

I remember spotting some big but very spooky 4-5# trout in a deeper run a ways above the tunnel, and one was laying next to a log.  Then the "log" moved, had to be a 10# brown close to 30".

I had one of the "logs" eat an 8" rainbow I was fighting on the upper Provo during a comp there a few years ago.  It spit it out and I netted the living fish and it released well.  It's eyes were a bit larger than normal though!

Oh yea!! The Weebie Jeebie has some massive brown trout. If you're lucky enough to fish it in the fall you will have some amazing streamer action. Crane fly larva always takes large trout as well.

Nice nothing beats the BWO for getting you ready for spring time fishing.  The only down side is it also usually means the crowds of fishermen will soon be on the streams.

Lots of olives showing up on the Bushkill today.  Heaviest around 2:00 this afternoon.  Plenty of little black stoneflies as well.

No, like an idiot I left my dry box at home.  Something else, while I was fishing I was visited by an officer from PA Fish and Boat.  I asked him about the fish kill that was reported a couple of months ago and he said the he and DEP checked it out and found nothing to substantiate it.  Not a single dead fish.  Judging by the amount of insects I saw today, I have to believe him.   Good news
